Canyon Studio Architects is a Los Angeles area firm whose work strives to enhance and celebrate the quality of life. For us, architecture is a direct expression of its place, it’s people and its purpose. It is multi-disciplinary, collaborative and a hopeful legacy, a gift to our future.

Our work includes market rate and affordable mixed-use, senior and multi-family communities, commercial, institutional and custom residential projects.  We also provide master planning expertise for project feasibility, site planning and density studies.

Similar methodology is applied to each project, regardless of building typology and scale. We seek to define the problem in terms of scope, budget, client need, time constraints, cultural and environmental context, engineering efficiency, agency compliance and constructability. We analyze the problem from the outside - in, from the big, urban picture down to the plan, section, detail and structure synthesizing research points from all pertinent disciplines into a meaningful, imaginative, built environment.

Recent projects include single family new construction and remodeling, landscape design, and interior design, as well as sustainable affordable senior housing communities, market rate housing communities, and mixed-use projects. Other project experience includes master planning, secondary and higher education, residential new construction and remodeling, and commercial tenant improvement.
